Valentines '06

82522-273005-thumbnail.jpgNot a bad turn out.

I love the fact that since I live in Japan, I pretty much don't have to do anything for anyone on Valentines Day. It's a girls job to do the giving, I just sit back and soak it all up.  And I must say this year was much better than last. This year I got from 7 people. A Valentines dinner, homemade cookies, home chocolates, and scones, muffins, and a bunch of other goodies. It'll be my turn to return the favor on March 14th come "White Day."

That's sooo nice!!! LOL, I'm glad that I'm not in Japan. Didn't do much this year's V-Day though. *sigh*

Valentine's day isn't an important day to celebrate for me (it wasn't when I was single, it is not now that I am married)...I am not going to celebrate love just on feb 14 and just because some chocolate companies are pushing me to do so, hehe! However, I see you are getting very popular there! ^_^

Blah, blah, blah, blah. Bah humbug. LoL.

Glad that you had a good one this year, Rick!

Marz: I thought you were married?

Aoi: I read about that somewhere on someone's blog. That Valentines is full of baloney because love isn't something you should celebrate one day out of the year. So true. I also read a quote from somewhere regarding lasting love, "Never stop dating." Hmm... nice. If only that passion could stick around forever.

Mina: Wow that works not only on Christmas but Valentines too! How versatile!

Hmmm... March 14th is White Day?? I'll remember that, maybe I can guilt trip my friends into doing double celebrations when the day comes.

Who needs Valentine's Day? All those fat calories going straight to your belly. Where's the love in that? Blah!

It reminds me of when I was teaching English and got tons of choco from the students. Often they would give the choco with some "other" present. Once I got used panties (nice) and another time under the choco was a video promoting some religious cult!! (not nice)

Geez I just realized I posted the same comment last year. Man, have you been doing this blog for so long? Am I getting old and telling the same stories over and over like some old geezer?
