Just kidding...this is completely possible the electromagnetic waves on cell phones is a lot stronger than the ones in Japan. Notice those Japanese are using overseas phones. They must not be in Japan

Boy am I glad I didn't try that at a party and bet something on it! I was also beginning to think my cell phone usage was the cause of all my erratic behavior lately! At least now I know I'm just plain wierd!
